Inspiration: My father faced problems while booking tickets through Irctc website so I enquired my friends and their parents and came to understand the problems they faced which inspired me to redesign this website
Background Research

To Redesign the website I did a survey and gathered what the user wants while booking a ticket and based on the answers i came to certain solutions and started working on the wireframing and learning how other travel booking Websites work and include to enhance user experience.
Some results from the survey
1)58% of the users from the survey of 16 people faced problems using Irctc site
2)31% people faced issue in payment
3)Many users were not able to find the train easily
4)20% people think accessibility should be improved
5)Better interface could help

What I have achieved
I was able to design website with better accessibilty,easy to understand interface and add features like auto fill and more payment options which will help users find and book trains with ease
Learnings from this project
Work on the problems taken into consideration while redesigning.
How to improve user experience by understanding and evaluating their answers from the survey which I took using google forms and accessibility for the user.
I enjoyed working on this project and learned valuable knowledge which can be applied in further projects.
